Everything seems to be working fine; leave it as is.
No favorites--take out any holidays that have to do with religious beliefs.
Depending on school population, certain holidays should be added to the calendar.
Be fair--add all major religious holidays to the calendar.
Who cares--More holidays would be great!



GUIDANCE :: Community Service Opportunities

For those students in the need of community service hours, or are looking to help out their community in other ways, the Guidance Office has the following and many other opportunities available.  Stop by the Guidance Office for more details.

Athletic Dept

WRHS Athletic Dept is looking for a volunteer to do the freshman boys basketball book during home games.  Games are on Tuesday and Fridays at 3:30 pm.  If interested please see Mrs. Spiwak in the athletic office.

Tutor

Volunteer needed to tutor 2nd grader with homework and math. Hours flexible. Please call Mrs. Badalino at 203-720-5000, ext. 241 or 888-2641.

Friends of Beacon Falls Library

Is looking for assistance at their Scrabble Challenge event on March 26th at 6 pm at St. Michael’s Church in Beacon Falls.  Assistance is needed for set-up starting at 4 pm, serving food on the buffet table, and cleaning up starting about 7:30 pm.  If you are interested in helping out with this event please contact Martha Melville at 720-0697 or 203-645-0019.

NOTE :: Students - remember to bring your community service forms along for a supervisor’s signature.
