36-year-old Dube Egwuatu was buying a mobile telephone top-up card when a gunman forced him to leave the shop. When Egwuatu left the store he saw the attacker waiting with a threatening looking dog, and holding a gas-powered ball bearing pistol behind his back. Realizing that the Obama "Believe" shirt he was wearing had started this violent assualt, Mr. Egwuatu zipped up his jacket and walked to his car. But the white gunman followed, opened Egwuatu's passenger door and pointed the gun towards him. The attacker fired three shots at Egwuatu, hitting him in the shoulder, face, and hand. Bleading heavily, Egwuatu raced away in his car and called for help. He was taking to the hospital and later had a piece of metal removed from his jaw. No arrests have been made as of October 7th.
