Spiking Setting Seniors

Woodland Volleyball held their annual senior night on Thursday October 23rd. As the five seniors walked into the decorated gymnasium, they were excited to see all that was done for them. However, they felt sadness because they knew that it was their final volleyball match in the Woodland gym. The Class of 2009 Woodland Volleyball Seniors are Mehak Khalid, Krista Conti, Kelley Mollor, Raphaelle Quint and Kim Edwon. They were showered with flowers and gifts during the ceremony and their parents and siblings stood right along their sides, as they announced the seniors names for recognition. The underclassmen, along with the help of the Woodland Volleyball Booster Club, raised enough money for the senior's gifts and decorations for the gym. They also made posters, T-Shirts and Banners. To end a wonderful night, the Hawks came up with a win against Holy Cross, 3-0. This put the icing on top of a successful evening for the Woodland Volleyball seniors, Class of 2009.
